    1. 1 - It was shot really well; good use of handheld. Works particularly well with your genre choice & isn't too shaky which could potentially make it disorientating for the audience. The acting also is excellent.

2 - I don't think the theme of racism was dominant enough, if I didn't know that was what your film was about beforehand, I probably wouldn't have got it so much. I mean you know it's a theme, but it doesn't dominate the narrative. It seems more like a story of Alex's personal struggle with life, rather than a struggle with racism.
Also, the fight just seemed to come out of nowhere. I instantly saw that it was inspired by "This is England" but in that there's quite a long build up leading to the fight, heightening the tension. However, that was a feature length & you guys only had 5 minutes to conduct a full narrative so I understand why it was lacking.

3 - Young people (particularly boys) who are into gritty social realism. You definitely reach that audience.

4 - Internet, Short Film Fest.

Well done guys, it's really good!

    2. 1. i thought that the film had really good mise-en-scene, and excellent camera work, i also enjoyed the portrayal of characters which was really backed up by good acting.

      2. at times it may have been a bit confusing of who the characters were in relation to each other like i would not have understood that the girl was the mother. another thing which i might change would be how long the opening scene is because it seems to take up a lot of time, and considering the film in is only 5 minutes, that time could be used to move the narrative along

      3. target audience most prob males because they are more dominant within the narrative, and maybe more educated people, people ages between 18-25

      4. interent, film festivals

    3. Feedback.
What did you think was particularly successful about the film?
-I felt that the camera work was particularly strong and effective in the depiction of the protagonists struggle. The cinamatography was affective in the portrayal of the narrative i thoroughly enjoyed the lack of dialogue and use of sound it helped to build a sense of realism. The film was clearly a social realism there was no confusion in terms of genre.
      What would you change?
      - I noticed there was a decrease in the production values and this was noticeable , so i would definately change that.
Who do you think the target audience is? Do you think we are reaching out target audience? Please comment.
      - Your target audience i would say where teenagers and perhaps, middle aged people as its dealing with serious themes and is therefore similar to a public awareness piece.
Where do you think you would find a film like ours? (websites, cinema, TV, etc)
      -A film festival.

    4. 1. I think the acting was very good and it was convincing that the characters that Adeel and Alex played hated each other. Also during the fight scene, when the camera was shaking it made it look more dramatic and professional.

      2. I would probably make the build up to the fight scene slightly longer so that we get to know more about Alex's background and family.

      3. Teenagers between 15-19. I think it appeals to teenagers as it is a subject matter that they are interested in about and it can affect them.

      4. I think your film could be in independent film festivals and showings.

    5. great stuff :)

      1. i think the montage sequence of extreme close ups at the beginning worked really well

      2. the format of the second half so that it can all be the same size

      3. i think you could have a broad target audience maybe 14-25 years olds but mainly boys.
